Aduhelm Infusion

What is Aduhelm?

Aduhelm is a biologic therapy designated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat Alzheimer’s disease. Although it is not a cure for Alzheimer’s, Aduhelm was designed to slow the progression of cognitive decline for patients with the disease.

Aduhelm attacks Amyloid plaques, which are believed by scientists and researchers to be one of the root causes of Alzheimer’s. As a amyloid beta-directed monoclonal antibody, Aduhelm may help reduce amyloid beta build up in the preventing the growth of plaques.
